Uni project: here we were asked to redesign the union jack, the purpose and context was down to us to decide and we could change and adapt it however we liked. I thought that I could use the union jack as a bar code which would be used on British products, such as apples. The slogan below 'forever British' I felt added the patriotism I wanted it to have, so that the bar code showed customers that they were proud to sell it and produce it in Britain. I am quite happy with how this has turned out and did try putting it into context on products like fruit and clothes which I feel was quite successful.
